Role Overview

Morgan Stanley is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Executive Director to join our dynamic Investment Banking Division in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this crucial leadership role, you will be responsible for driving the firm's success by originating and executing a wide range of complex financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and strategic advisory assignments. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in investment banking at a top-tier financial institution.
  • Demonstrable track record of leading M&A transactions from origination to closing.
  • Extensive experience in financial modeling, valuation analysis (DCF, LBO, comparable companies), and corporate finance theory.
  • Proven ability in deal origination, client acquisition, and building a sustainable business pipeline.
  • Experience managing and advising C-suite level clients and their boards on complex strategic transactions.
  • Deep understanding of capital markets and the deal execution process.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to investment banking in the MENA region.

Desirable

  • Fluency in Arabic (written and spoken).
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
  • Significant on-the-ground experience working within Riyadh or the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • An established, portable network of C-suite relationships and key business contacts in the MENA region.
  • Experience across multiple industry sectors such as Technology, Healthcare, Energy, or Industrials.
