Role Overview

On behalf of a client, byteSpark.ai is seeking an experienced Investment Manager to support direct real estate investments across the GCC, with a focus on the UAE and KSA. This role is pivotal in evaluating, underwriting, executing, and monitoring opportunities across multiple asset classes including residential, commercial, and logistics. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional with strong asset-level financial modeling, disciplined due diligence execution, and IC memo preparation skills. You will be responsible for the entire investment lifecycle, from screening and underwriting to post-acquisition monitoring against the business plan. This position requires a professional with deep direct real estate exposure to drive value creation and manage a diverse portfolio. Success in this role hinges on translating complex analysis into clear investment recommendations and ensuring performance aligns with strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of direct real estate investment experience, preferably in private equity, principal investments, or acquisitions.
  • Demonstrable experience in GCC markets, particularly the UAE and/or KSA.
  • Strong, hands-on asset-level real estate underwriting and financial modeling skills (IRR, equity multiple, cash flow analysis).
  • Proven experience coordinating and managing due diligence workstreams (financial, legal, commercial, technical).
  • Experience preparing high-quality Investment Committee (IC) memos, investment papers, and board materials.
  • Direct experience in post-acquisition asset management, including business plan monitoring and performance tracking.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, real estate, business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Desirable

  • A CFA, MBA, or relevant postgraduate qualification.
  • Experience with deal origination and an established network in the GCC real estate market.
  • Experience working within a Shariah-compliant investment framework.
  • Exposure to value-add and development-linked real estate opportunities.
  • Experience across a broad range of asset classes including hospitality and mixed-use properties.
