Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and visionary Head of Marketplace Strategy to lead our Selling on Amazon business and shape its future growth. This senior leader will be responsible for the end-to-end Selling Partner experience, owning the P&L and driving the expansion of key categories. You will manage a diverse team of program managers, account managers, and analysts, fostering their development while setting the strategic direction to grow our seller base. This role requires a dynamic leader who can collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams to design and build innovative, country-specific solutions with global applicability. The ideal candidate will identify and pursue new opportunities, influence stakeholders across the organization, and deliver a world-class experience for our customers and Selling Partners. Your expertise in e-commerce, program management, and international business will be critical to executing this vision and solidifying our market leadership.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of professional experience in e-commerce, technology, retail, or top-management consulting.
- Minimum 3 years of direct people management experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Management, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience with end-to-end P&L ownership or managing a significant business line.
- Proven ability to partner with technical and product teams to deliver new features and solutions.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel and database analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Proven project management skills in a complex, dynamic environment.
Desirable
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
- 7+ years of experience in account management, product marketing, or management consulting roles.
- 5+ years of experience managing teams in sales or business development.
- Previous experience and a demonstrated track record in the Fashion or Softlines industry.
- Experience working in or managing projects for international markets.
