Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas industry.
  • Extensive experience in managing large, mature carbonate reservoirs.
  • Proven expertise in dynamic reservoir simulation using Eclipse and Petrel RE.
  • Advanced knowledge of waterflooding design, management, and optimization techniques.
  • Strong background in reservoir surveillance planning, execution, and data integration.
  • Proficiency with material balance analysis using tools like MBAL.
  • Demonstrated experience in optimizing production and enhancing recovery factors in mature fields.
  • BSc in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related discipline.

Desirable

  • MSc or PhD in Petroleum Engineering.
  • Experience working on Middle Eastern carbonate fields.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of leading technical teams or major projects.
  • Formal experience in mentoring and developing junior engineering talent.
  • Experience with Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) screening and pilot projects.
