Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Well Services Engineer to join our dynamic team and spearhead the planning and execution of our onshore well service operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive well service programs, from initial concept to final implementation, ensuring all activities align with our rigorous internal standards and industry best practices. You will serve as a key technical authority, providing critical engineering support and operational insights to optimize performance and ensure well integrity. The successful candidate will lead complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive efficiency and safety across all well intervention and stimulation activities. This position requires a proactive problem-solver with a deep understanding of downhole operations and a proven track record of delivering results in a challenging onshore environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • At least 4 years of direct experience in a well services, completions, or intervention engineering role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in planning and executing a variety of onshore well service operations (e.g., coiled tubing, slickline, wireline, hydraulic fracturing).
  • Proven ability to develop detailed well service programs, procedures, and cost estimates.
  • Strong technical knowledge of wellbore mechanics, downhole tools, and fluid systems.
  • Proficiency with well intervention and simulation software (e.g., Cerberus, WellCat, Prosper).
  • Thorough understanding of relevant industry standards (API, ISO) and safety regulations.

Desirable

  • Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering.
  • Experience working in unconventional resource plays (e.g., shale, tight gas).
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Experience with well integrity management and risk assessment.
